E.S.S.A.Y.

Our young scholars are often-times faced with stressors and challenges that can make it difficult to thrive academically. Some examples of problems that they may face include exam stress, difficulty concentrating and staying on task, low confidence / self-esteem, poor / underdeveloped communication skills, and poor / underdeveloped social skills. It is imperative to have positive resources in place to work with them on developing effective social and communication skills, devising learning strategies that build on their strengths and compensate for weaknesses, and developing effective emotional and behavioral regulation skills.

Davis Therapeutic Services, LLC has designed a positive and effective educational therapy and mentoring program that focuses on developing therapeutic interventions for students who struggle with emotional, mental, or behavioral challenges that may impair their academic functioning. Additionally, the program focuses on equipping teachers with the knowledge and skills to identify and effectively address the emotional, mental, and behavioral challenges their students may experience in the classroom setting.  To accomplish this goal, DTS, LLC staff will work with the school officials to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space for the young scholars to focus on their mental well-being.
